Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use salesgrowthtoolkit.com, rebategenerator.com, the Rebate Generator app (app.rebategenerator.com) and our spreadsheet templates (together, the "Services"). By using the Services or creating an account, you agree to them. Please read them – they are written in plain English.

1. Who we are

The Services are provided by Mark Williams, a sole trader based in England, trading as Rebate Generator and Sales Growth Toolkit. Contact: hello@rebategenerator.com.

2. Business use

The Services are designed for businesses. By using them you confirm you are acting for a business and are at least 18. If you accept these terms for a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

3. Your account

Give a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
You can delete your account at any time in the app.

4. Your data

You own the data you enter. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the Services to you. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to enter any information about other people (for example customer contacts). We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Please keep your own copies of important data – you can export it from the app at any time.

5. Licence and intellectual property

The Services, the app, the spreadsheets, their formulas, structure, design and content belong to Mark Williams. When you buy a spreadsheet or subscribe to a plan, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it within your own business. You may not resell, share, publish, sublicense or distribute the Services or spreadsheets (or modified versions) to anyone outside your business, remove copyright notices, or try to bypass sheet protection to copy or repackage them.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Services: no attempts to break security, overload or disrupt them, access other people's accounts, upload malicious code, or use them for anything unlawful.

7. Paid plans and purchases

Prices are shown before you buy. Payments will be processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, and its checkout terms also apply to the purchase. Subscriptions renew until you cancel; cancelling stops future payments, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Because the Services are for business use, consumer cancellation rights do not apply, but if something does not work as described please contact us and we will try to put it right.

8. Calculations are a guide

The Services help you model, track and present rebates and account plans. Results depend on the figures and settings you enter. They are not financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. You are responsible for checking figures and for the rebate agreements and payments you make with your customers.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Services available and accurate, but they are provided "as is" and we cannot promise they will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or withdraw features. If we stop a paid Service, we will give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid amount for the unused period.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business or data, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period (or £100 if greater).

11. Ending use

You can stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Sections 4, 5, 8 and 10 continue after an account ends.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed; for important changes we will tell account holders by email in advance. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept it.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
